You've read about Shirley Cheng's inspiring personal journey in getting to know God in Dr. Rick Warren's Purpose Driven Connection magazine in an article by Pulitzer-Prize-winning journalist Tom Hallman, and you might have wanted to learn more about where that journey has taken her. Now you can. The 26-year-old blind and physically disabled author and motivational speaker has released an inspirational book on Christianity, "Do You Love Jehovah? God Almighty's Infinite Love & Wisdom to Propel You to Greatness," which has just been honored as a finalist in the National Best Books 2009 Awards in the Christianity category, her 21st book award thus far.
"I'm absolutely honored and thrilled to have such great honor bestowed upon me," says Cheng. "I've made it my life's mission to touch as many people as I possibly can to bring the Word of God. I'm truly grateful to Jehovah for allowing me to receive the award for my book to assist me in my efforts. To God be all the glory!"

"...this book deserves to sit on the shelf next to the Bible...Shirley has all of the properties, emotions, logic and spiritual being that (Jehovah) was hoping to instill in each one of us. Shirley may be in a wheelchair, but has walked the universe. She may be blind but see's the true color and beauty in the world..." -Jan Hayner, Professional Organizer, Motivational Speaker, Personal Coach
"(Shirley) could preach a sermon with the best of the 18th century preachers." -Laura Evans, United Methodist Church Pastor's Wife, Certified Instructor, Journal to the Self
"(Shirley's) grassroots story telling makes this book an excellent read for individuals who haven't made the time to read the Bible. This book would benefit anyone who has feelings of loss, loneliness, anger, selfishness, and low self worth. Great for children to learn the foundation their life was built upon." -Trish Lay, Life Coach, Speaker, Founder of Souls At Play Productions
Shirley Cheng (b. 1983), a blind and physically disabled award-winning author (with 21 book awards, including nine Parent to Parent Adding Wisdom Awards and Mom's Choice Awards), motivational speaker, self-empowerment expert, poet, author of nine books, contributor to nineteen, and a parental rights advocate, has had severe juvenile rheumatoid arthritis since infancy. Unfortunately, Shirley lost her eyesight at the age of seventeen. After a successful eye surgery, she hopes to earn multiple science doctorates from Harvard University.
