Our Mothers, Our Treasures

Tomorrow is mother's day and I am just thinking about my own mother (I think about her a lot, actually, so it's not just because it's Mother's Day), and I thought of all the good times and the bad times we've both gone through, she supporting me all the way during hardship. I am so lucky and so grateful to have such a loving, devoted, and selfless mother as she. I can't imagine my life without her.

When I had my eyesight, I used to make her greeting cards, crafts, and drew pictures to give them to her on Mother's Day and on her birthday. But my best gift to her is my love for her, and her best gift to me is her love for me. We just have so much fun together, smiling even during the darkest days. We laugh, we joke around, and we talk till the wee hours in the morning.

I invite everyone to read my award-winning tribute to my beloved mother. Mothers are the most precious treasures of the world, so please cherish and value them. It should be Mother's Day every day...don't just be extra good to your mother on this one single day; be extra good to her each and every day.
