Greetings all,

I have no updates of my own today, but instead, I have some special news to share with everyone. I would like to tell you about a newly published book on marketing by Francine Silverman. I am not sure how many of you are writers on my list. Feel free to forward this newsletter to those who might be interested in this new exciting book. And for your information, yours truly is one of the 300+ authors in the book. :) Below is its information.

Book Marketing from A-Z was published in March 2005 by Infinity Publishing. A compilation of the best promotional strategies of 300+ authors of all genres, the book was compiled by Francine Silverman as editor/publisher of Book Promotion Newsletter (www.bookpromotionnewsletter.com).

In an alphabetical format for ease of use, Book Marketing from A-Z is packed with unique ideas from Advertising (Pros and Cons) to Zero Promotion (when the book sells itself). Whether the author of one or 100 titles, self-published or traditionally published, these contributors are brutally honest about their pleasures and pitfalls.

Hailing from all over the English-speaking world, they present their first-hand experiences with honesty and humor. “The nice thing about the book is the format – it’s not just names and addresses, but a brief personal narrative visit with a number of real writers, people like you and me who have experienced the glory and the gory side of pushing a product,” says reviewer Barbara Scott. http://www.curledup.com/bkmarket.htm

Readers will learn by their mistakes and adapt ideas in promoting their own books.

“This book contains everything a new (or even experienced) author needs to begin marketing,” writes book reviewer Jeremy Hoover. http://hooverreviews.blogspot.com.

“Authors might be surprised to learn that there are many free things they can do to market their books!”

“An absolute page-turner!” wrote Tami Brady at Blether – http://blether.com -

where Book Marketing from A-Z received its highest honor - a Gold Award. “I got it in the mail on a Wednesday afternoon and finished it by Thursday evening. I simply couldn’t put it down.”

The 400-page paperback is available at http://www.buybooksontheweb.com (Category: Marketing).
*The book is also available from Amazon.com now.

Also, there's a contest you can enter to win a free, autographed copy of the book. Go to http://www.readers-choice.net/Contests.htm to learn about it.

Hope you will find this issue useful. Pass it on.

That's all I have to share for now.

Take care.

Shirley Cheng
