Dear all subscribers,

This is Shirley, the author of Daring Quests of Mystics. You are receiving this announcement because you have subscribed to this mailing list. Well, as promised, I'm making my first announcement. But first and foremost, I want to wish everyone a very joyous holiday season. But even if you don't celebrate any holidays—still have a great time!! And have a wonderful New Year 2004!

My first book, Daring Quests of Mystics, is being printed and it is ready for pre-order. I'm guessing that it would take about a month for the book to be out. So, unfortunately, it can't be a Christmas gift. You can read sample chapters, a short synopsis, my bio, take a look at the front cover image, see what I look like, and to order a copy by going to: http://www.shirleycheng.com

I already received my first customer a couple days ago, so I'm thrilled. It was a pleasant surprise when I received an e-mail, telling me that he (someone I met online) had ordered a copy of my book already.

If you live by my area in NY, you can get your book autographed during my book signings. I will schedule them when the time comes and I will keep you updated.

The site does not have a guestbook, yet.

Word of mouth is vital, so please spread word about my book. Forward this newsletter to your friends, family, co-workers, and groups you're in, or anyone you think who might be interested in a good read. You might do someone a favor—you never know.

Again, I wish you all the best and thank you for subscribing to my newsletter. If you have any questions or comments, please don't hesitate to e-mail me. And if you decide to order a copy of my book, please let me know. I'll be honored. :)

Happy reading!

Sincerely,

Shirley Cheng
Author of Daring Quests of Mystics
